Purpose: Plan and lead art activities in the art room on a weekly basis, in coordination with the teachers.
Commitment: Be available weekly for art class along with lesson prep time. Some art lessons are coordinated school-wide with the Art Program Coordinator. Some art lessons are occasionally coordinated with their class teacher’s needs (i.e. theme days).
Other Considerations: The art teacher works closely with the Oceans 411 coordinator for hallway decorations during Oceans Week in May. Additional hours may be necessary during this time period.
