Renee: My family is from New York, we moved out here when I was about 3 years old. I had a wonderful experience in Pacifica Schools growing up. I attended Vallemar Elementary and Terra Nova High School. I received my teaching credential at SFSU. I have taught for over 16 years in San Mateo Foster City, Daly City and Pacifica. My children also attend Ocean Shore with me and I couldn’t be happier here!

We are happy to welcome Nicole (Niki) Sims as our new 3rd grade teacher. Niki jumped in at Ortega this last year as a long-term substitute for one of their 4th grade classes and ended up staying the entire year. She is thrilled to be joining our staff and can’t wait to meet our incoming 3rd grade class and their families in August.
