I was born and raised in San Francisco, currently raising my own children in the same house that I grew up in. I attended public school from K-12. I graduated from SFSU with a major in Liberal Studies, a minor in Psychology, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I have been in education for over 25 years working with infants through school-age children. All of my years teaching in the Pacifica School District have been in Kindergarten, which I love. I am an alumni parent of the Ocean Shore community. Both my son and daughter went through the K-8 program. I like to start each day with a cycling class on my Peloton bike. I enjoy crafting, baking, shopping, wining, dining, and spending time with friends and family. Visit our family food truck, Al Pastor Papi, at various locations throughout the bay area.

I am originally from Washington DC. Even as a child, I wanted to teach Kindergarten! When I’m not in the classroom, I’m doing yoga, hiking, or reading a book. Both of my kids graduated from Ocean Shore and had wonderful, formative experiences here. I’ve been at Ocean Shore for over 20 years and feel I have found my home. In fact, my husband and I moved to Pacifica because of the community at Ocean Shore. The staff here is supportive, dedicated, and committed; they’re like family.
